Renata Hron Gomez serves as the Director of Community Programs & Services at Social Venture Circle (SVC), formerly Investors’ Circle-Social Venture Network. In this role, she helps develop and implement support services, educational content, local and national deal flow, and targeted programming for SVC members and the broader impact community. Prior to her work at SVC, Renata spent more than two decades at The Hitachi Foundation in varying programmatic roles, most recently as Vice President for Program, Entrepreneurship @ Work. In this work, she directed the Foundation’s efforts to support early-stage entrepreneurs as they grow and secure capital.
Renata worked for the International Renaissance Foundation in Kyiv, Ukraine where she helped build an independent media infrastructure. She was a Board Member of San Diego Grantmakers from 2007-2014, serving both as Secretary and Chair and served on the Corporate Advisory Committee at the Council on Foundations. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Television-Radio-Film Management and International Relations from Syracuse University and a Master’s degree in International Communication and International Law from American University.
